knitting!

yes, i have knitted (or is that knat?). Actually, i am working on the do-over of the forceful sweater (1/3 of a sleeve to go, thank you very much), but i am adverse to knitting progress photos. Trust me, those 3 inches i got done last night are just not that entertaining.

But, a couple of weeks ago, as i shivered at my desk with the air from the vent blowing down my neck, i determined that i would make a neck warmer. Since i was a bit obsessed with doing a moebius strip at the time, and had just bought Cat Bordhi's A Second Treasury of Magical Knitting, well, the solution was obvious:
